Good drum kit for punk rock?

So, I am thinking about getting the Gretsch Catalina Club Mod but I play punk rock and I'm not sure if that set has the right sound, because I've heard that it's a jazz set. And could you guys post a few sets that would be good for punk in the same price range? I would like them to be the set up like the catalina, with the ride where the other rack tom would normally be. Thanks!
