I need some honest advice...to be a housewife or not...?

You know, it's not about the step daughter. It's about you. And my strong opinion is that women need a life of their own. They need a paycheck, they need credit, they need a bank account, they need a life beyond the marriage so that if the marriage does not succeed for them they have something of their own to live on and with. And I think you will soon get bored with the no work life. You need the day to day connection with other people who come through the workday. I'd think twice about giving up your individuality to this husband and his wishes. They may not be in keeping with what is best for you long term. Good luck.
