Can I learn wire mod?

I'm 14 years old, I love Gmod, but my friend is always urging me to learn wire mod so I can play with him, especially e2, but I always tell him id never be smart enough to learn something like wire mod. Is wire mod hard to learn? It looks just as hard as programming. I dont think I would have what it takes..
