What is a good place for a 14 year old to get employed in Olympia WA?

So, summer is coming up and I already have plans to volunteer at the local animal shelter. However, that isn't a paying job and I'm doing it because I want to help animals, I figure it's good to get my community service hours for college in early, and I think it'll be a good experience. I do want a paying job too though because I've been spending more money lately and I don't get money from my parents even for chores. I am interested in animal (especially dog) related things, music (I play alto sax and guitar), and nature/helping the environment. I thought of a pet sitting/walking business but that's iffy. I'll have competition. I have no patience for little kids (not my thing) so no babysitting but I would tutor somewhat older kids. The only subject I feel confident I could tutor in is Language Arts or Writing though so... and ideas? Thanks.
